Call for Papers
Being a milestone event, this conference is organized within the framework of the REDINEST Project (Student-powered and challenge-based impact lab network for the development of transformative competencies and inclusive mindset), a project funded by European Union (2024-1-HU01-KA220-HED-000257014).
The global landscape demands a shift in how we approach entrepreneurship and education. We do not need just another academic seminar; we need a transformative space that bridges the gap between theory, real-world execution, and societal change. This conference addresses that exact gap by establishing a unique ecosystem:
- A dual-engine event: the event is positioned as both a scientific conference and an active practice-exchange. It values rigorous academic research just as much as it values hard-earned insights from the field.
- True interdisciplinary dialogue: entrepreneurship no longer belongs solely to business schools. Breaking down traditional academic silos, this event opens vibrant opportunities to discuss how humanities, informatics, engineering, and social sciences intersect to spark responsible innovation.
- In-depth, real-world discussions: we want more than slide presentations, we are initiating deep, actionable debates. By actively welcoming experts from day-to-day practice, we aim to pressure-test academic models against real market realities.
- A multi-generational, cross-sector network: this is a collaborative melting pot. We deliberately bring together PhD and master students, established scientists, industry leaders, and civil organizations to foster inclusive, multi-stakeholder solutions.
Led by Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) in consortium with Université de Rennes, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, University of Belgrade, and the University of Évora, REDINEST is dedicated to building disruptive, inter-university impact labs. Our goal is to equip the next generation with the transformative competencies and inclusive mindsets required to drive digital transformation and sustainable, society-first solutions.
We welcome contributions for researchers, educators, PhD and Master candidates, and industry/civil society practioners. The following types of work, written in English, will be accepted at the conference:
- Full paper articles: a full paper corresponds to a complete or finished research work, including a discussion of the research results, containing between 4.000 and 6.000 words (plus bibliographic references).
- Research-in-progress paper: an article of work in progress presents preliminary results of an ongoing research work, and should contain between 2.000 and 4.000 words (plus bibliographic references).
- Poster: a poster presents initial research, ideas and models under discussion, and should only contain an abstract of 500 to 1.000 words (plus bibliographic references).
All work proposals received and accepted for presentation at the Conference will be included in the proceedings book.
Selected papers can be published in the Special Issue in Amfiteatru Economic.
The Conference will be free of charge.
